The included songs are simplistic but I suppose that's standard for an introductory book. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to learn this instrument.

I gave this to my son for Christmas. He had never heard of a dulcimer. Between the book and Youtube, my son was playing a song Christmas morning.

simple and good for a beginner the book only contains a few songs but again its fine for a beginner

I actually liked this book a lot at first, and could play all the songs within a couple of weeks. The problem is everything depends on all the strings being tuned to C. All my other books are DAA or DAD, so it's good if those songs are the only ones you are ever going to play.
