Description:

This neck through guitar is scaled to 24 ¾ with a chunkier neck for that Special feel. With a deeply arched top, solid ½ maple caps, 5 ply binding and cloud inlays the Special has a classic appearance. Other features include a strategically positioned three way toggle switch, two volume and two tone controls, stop tailpiece and a tune-o-matic style bridge. and vintage specified Rockfield humbucker pickups.

Great guitar, but... Jun 07, 2010
Out of the box, mine had a slightly high fret & a switch that needed adjusting (common problem with this style of switch).

That being said:
This Mockingbird has become one of my main go-to guitars and can cover just about any musical ground that I want it to. The neck-through construction gives great sustain an feedback to the player. The Tone-pro's bridge is rock-solid. The Rockfield pickups are punchy & warm with just the right amount of bite to cut through the mix. Plus, I've added a push-pull coil tap to one of the tone knobs for even more versatility.

All in all, it's just a spectacular guitar that only needed a little setup TLC out of the box!

There is nothing not to love about it. Everything was great out of the box.

Quality of construction is great, the guitar is made in Korea.. or mine was. It sounds like it should and she can sing.

One of the most beautiful unique guitar shapes out there, with beautiful inlays and curves. My other electric is a Gibson SG and its hard to decide which one to play.

Hide from X-Japan would be proud at your choice!

Don't sit on the fence like i did for a year thinking this is the one i want. I finally said I need her bought it and have not looked back!
