I bought this for my son for christmas as a professional player recommended takamine was the brand to go with. This guitar has a beautiful tone to it. It is hard to find a guitar in a decent price range that can sound so good. My son loves it! Also bought a hard case and a capo to go with it and those higher notes sound great. Very pleased and would definitely recommended. perfect for a beginner to intermediate player!

Sound on the bright side, but nice guitar. Be advised: MADE IN CHINA. I guess even Takamine can't resist child slave labor. I thought it was Korean made.
