Kinda expensive for what it is Apr 22, 2010 First of all, it doesn't seem any more effective than other nut lubricants I have tried. It helps prevent binding but does not eliminate it. The viscosity is such that it doesn't dry out, which is a plus. It essentially looks like vaseline, not that it actually is, so you get a small glob of thick lubricant at the nut that must be wiped off. This is not a bad product, hence the 3 star rating which Amazon categorizes OK, but $13 for the amount supplied is excessive.

Nut Sauce Is Not Nutty Feb 25, 2010 I have an American Deluxe Strat and a VG Strat that both have tremolos. I would not use the tremolos because they easily went out of tune. After just ONE APPLICATION of Big Bend's Nut Sauce on the nut, bridge saddles and fulcrum points, both guitar amazingly stay perfectly in tune, even with heavy tremolo use. I highly recommend Nut Sauce!
Nut sauce does work... Feb 10, 2010 This stuff works pretty well...applied to two American Strats and two Studio LP's. It does eventually wear off, of course, but is so easily reapplied...at string changes for sure. In fact, we installed locking tuners and a graphite nut to one of the above Strats and I'd say the nut sauce is about as good at keeping ax in tune. Worth the price for those not gigging or those who are but don't want to spend the extra $$ for locking tuners and a graphite nut.

Sounds like a gimmick, works phenomenally. May 11, 2008 At first glance I thought it would be stupid (Tuning lubricant? Really?) but it works great. Obviously if your tuners or bridge is messed up, it's not gonna magically correct that, but this lubricant really does help keep you in tune longer. You barely have to use any of it, and this vial has lasted me quite a while. I apply it whenever I change strings on any of my guitars.
