5Pretty amazing  Dec 15, 2010
By Randall K Oliver
I've read that some people can't tell any difference with the brass pins, and some can. Since it's not a lot of money I decided to try a set of these on a Wasburn parlor model(305S) that had the el cheapo plastic pins. I had already installed a bone saddle and a set of D'Addario custom lights and the tone was better. Not perfect, but better. The difference with these pins was not only noticable, it was pretty amazing. The little parlor had a clarity and presence that I'd never heard before. The folks that don't notice any appreciable difference must already have a great sounding instrument. If you have a less expensive guitar with plastic pins, or just want to get the best tone you can, try these. Pretty amazing for not much investment.

4Adds a nice touch but...  Jan 07, 2006
By Anthony James "Of course I did that on purpose..."
I put these on an Ibanez electric acoustic with a flamed top finish. They look a lot better than the cheap, white plastic bridge pins that the guitar came with but I can't really say they added much to the sound of the guitar. I'd give them a little credit for MAYBE adding some sustain but overall they are more of a cosmetic upgrade, which I am happy with. They do add quite a bit of class and distinction to the looks of the guitar.

4Beautiful! But don't get your hopes up about the sound  Jan 25, 2013
By H. Hagglyhoagly
I love the way these look on my black guitar. They were a little too big for the holes, though, so they don't sink all the way in, but they still work fine. I honestly can't tell any difference in the sound, but they are totally worth the price just for the look.

4Sounds and looks better!  Jan 12, 2013
By P. Hublein
Impressed with this set, I installed them today and have been playing for a few hours. My wife thinks my guitar looks better now, and I agree. Im not sure if they are supposed to be flush, and they stick out just a little bit but they have not popped out. I think my guitars tone has improved a little too, but I also installed new strings. Qualtiy is way better then the plastic pins!

1Not for my Martin.......  Feb 17, 2012
By YugYug "SquidWorks"
These pins originally fit nicely with the first string replacement. After that they no longer would hold. They are useless
for my Martin 000-28.
