Description:

This might just be the most flexible, powerful wah pedal ever. Designed in conjunction with Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, the DB-01 Crybaby From Hell gives you everything you need to do serious wah damage. "It's basically what I'd call a hot-rodded wah," Dimebag explains. "It's pretty tricked out-it's got an extended sweep so you can get it to go more high-endy sounding and deeper too. There's a 5-way selector on the side so you can pick what frequency you're gonna play within. You've got a kick-in boost and LED indicators [Wah on/off, Boost on/off] at the back of the pedal-instead of at the front-so you can see them from the back of the stage. And it's got skateboard skid-tape on it instead of rubber so when you've got beer on your feet you won't slip off it. One other little trick is an extra input jack on the left-hand side of the pedal so you can go in and out of the CFH on just that side if you want. That way, if you're just using the wah, you don't have to loop a chord around the top of the thing, so it's less likely to get stuck under the pedal. I'm real proud of the CFH, man," Dime concludes. "It's ready for war!" 5This thing's got all you need!  Nov 09, 2006
By Joris Spronck "Jori-Wan Kenobi"
I must admit I never had any experience with wahs before. OK, I had one under my foot ONCE. It left me with the experience that I was gonna need a lot of time to make my foot do what my ears desired.

I bought a wah anyway 'cause it's just an awesome effect. And since I'm the guy who loves little knobs and versatility, I went for the dime...

Costed a little more than one though, but it's all worth it.

It's really easy to understand what all the knobs do, and it helps the wah-rookie to get into the groove. Starting with a very moderate setting, your foot can't do much wrong, and you won't get the feeling that you can't get a decent tone out of it.

And after surpisingly little time you're the master!

I play around with the settings a lot, and I wouldn't want tot miss it for the world! No standard budget-crybaby for me, thanks, no sir...

This pedal is awesome, a must get for guitarists. It may take some time dial-in the sound that you want and get used to what the knobs do.

5Best Wah I've owned  Dec 25, 2011
By Healer
I'll admit it.. I got one of these a few years back but never took the time to tweak it so I wrote it off as a bad wah.. After using a Bad Horsie wah for 2 years (great wah) I pulled out the ol Crybaby from hell. The variable Q is the key to getting this thing sounding great - as far the sweep adjuster goes I set it on 3 notches from the top and it gets that classic "growl". The boost is awesome too. The "fine tune" really doesn't so much of anything, I leave it set halfway.

5Wonderful Pedal  Feb 03, 2011
By A Happy Customer
I received this pedal as a gift, after noticing that most of my favorite bands utilize this pedal. It took but 2 hours of practice to take full control over this device. Every squeal, every dulled sound, every overdriven note is like a violent blessing upon your ears. This pedal will be great fun for any guitar player that likes to experiment, be you a novice or an expert. With all of the options Dunlop put on this pedal, it is easy to customize your experience, leaving countless options to play with.

Enjoy this pedal; it will be your friend.
