5Exactly as expected  Mar 21, 2013
By Matthew
I wanted a thick-walled heavy, brass slide. That is exactly what I received. I have been happy with every Dunlop item that I have ever purchased (over the past 45 years of playing guitar). FYI, the ring size is 12.5 (22mm). At 60mm, it is a little shorter than most of my other slides (just an observation).

5Sweet sound  Feb 24, 2013

I've tried thin brass, Pyrex and acrylic slides with my acoustic guitar and none of them have the deep, resonant tone that the Dunlop 224 has. I've stopped looking for slides because this is the one.

4Very Heavy  Feb 21, 2013
By Jeff Hagan
This slide is very good quality, but it's VERY heavy. Which can be good or bad depending on what you want and how you use it. I'm a pretty decent guitarist, but I'm only a beginner at playing with a slide, and this one is a bit unweildy for me.

5Very good sound.  Nov 13, 2012

My first time I tried brass and I am pleased with it! Thanks. I recommend brass now and will urge people to order the same way I did.

2Good sounding slider.  Feb 09, 2012

Fit my fat fingers quite nicely, though it is a bit heavier than expected (it's brass, duh). The sound it produces is very good for the studio, but for every day play I'll stick with the small & light one for my pinkie.
