what's it made of? Nov 29, 2007
I bought this here through amazon and the delivery time was good.
I am attempting to teach myself slide guitar and am discouraged by full sized slides and thought that a smaller 'fewer strings' slide would help and i was right. i like being able to deal with just three strings as i learn. the velcro fitting idea is cool. it's easy to twist it out of the way and play.
but i thought it would be a solid piece of steel and I just don't think it is. Maybe I'm wrong and I will accept being told I'm wrong. It just feels like an alloy "steel + something lighter".
Other than that, it does what it says it will do and I'm glad to have it.
