I like it - it polishes, waxes, cleans, and does just what it's supposed to. Aug 01, 2010
By David J. Huber
"Addicted to books!"
Granted, I'm no expert on what's out there in the world for guitar cleaning materials. This is my first foray into that world.
But, I've used it, and it's easy. The polish is great, the cloths are soft and just what they should be; the wax is wonderfully shiny and easy to put on and buff. Everything here is, as far as I can tell, just as advertised - a way to keep one's instruments in good shape.
I now have a shine on my guitar that is better than when it arrived from the factory, and there doesn't seem to be any chemicals in the stuff that corrodes or otherwise destroys the guitar, like perhaps some fly-by-night cheapy cheapy product maker might offer.
Maybe there are better polishes and waxes out there - and knowing the way the world works, I'm sure there are some, probably made out of rare elephant glandular excretions that sell for $500 a bottle that the pros use and maybe would be worth 6 or 7 stars on the Amazon review. I don't know. But come on; this stuff is just fine.

Check Alternatives First Oct 01, 2008
By Brent Griendling I bought this thinking that it had everything I needed to clean my guitars and make them look good. The good pieces are the body polish, wax and the fingerboard conditioner. The wax and polish give the body a great shine and the conditioner is good for its purpose. However, the fretboard and string cleaners leave a bit to be desired. I found the fretboard cleaner didn't get a lot of the grit and dirt that had accumulated on the fingerboard off. Next time I cleaned it, I used an inexpensive all purpose cleaner, which worked very well. As for the string cleaner, if you are looking for something to make them feel like new, I would recommend GHS Fast Fret over this product. Dunlop is a great company, but there are a few superior alts for pieces of this set.

Great System Dec 31, 2011
By Boiler98 I love this system. Every time I change strings now, I go through every step of this system, and what a difference it has made. The fretboard cleaner and conditioner are great. I never realized how dry the wood was. The string cleaner is nice too. I feel like I was neglecting my guitars until I got this. The quantities of product in this kit are good, and the instructions are clear. The two polishing cloths are adequate size, and washable.

The Perfect System Feb 05, 2008
By Danial E. Hansen Jr. NEVER have I put any thought to the extend to which I can preserve my guitar. This kit even includes a method of removing tarnish from frets. The fret board conditioner has drastically improved my speed of play and the body wax actually wards off grease from hands. This is a beautiful system!

Dunlop System 65 Mar 09, 2012
By Mike Curl

I have been using Dunlop Guitar Maintenance products for about 3 years now. I recently ran out of guitar polish and wax and decided to order this kit. I think the overall value is a killer deal - very inexpensive, and I believe the products are Made In The USA. I love the fact the wax goes on easy and buffs off to a great shine. I recently tried another, more expensive wax, and it left residue behind. Fortunately, the Dunlop kit made short work of getting the old residue off and returning my guitars to factory new condition.
