Better than factory strings Aug 29, 2009
By The Penguin

I put a set of these on a cheap Chinese bass. Wow, what a difference over the factory strings! These are great! The same Ernie Ball quality I expected after using Super Slinky guitar strings for over 30 years. These Rock! Made in USA too!!!

Excellent Product Nov 23, 2005
By R. Frawley These strings add a wonderfully bright tone to any bass, both cheap and expensive. They can do wonders for the tone and clarety of one's bass.
Also, these strings feel great compared to competetors; they allow for easier bending and sliding.
Recommended.

Excellent strings for your bass Jul 12, 2010
By EmanM3 I really like the way these Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings sound and feel. The only negative is that they don't hold their tone very long. I found that I needed to replace them after a few months.

Versatile Sound Mar 16, 2011
By J.R. Woodward I use these strings on my bass because the sound is great for rock and also for jazz. They have weight and a glow that remember me the Rotosound english string, with the advantage of being cheaper (depending where you buy). I recommend them to anyone who wants a versatile rope. Although they are more suitable for playing rock.

Great Strings. Great Price. Feb 08, 2012
By McNerd I ordered these strings on February 3rd and received them on February 7th. One thing I have read about them is that they have very little tone and complexity. I'm just going to say that if the strings tone is such a big deal, then you shouldn't be playing bass at all. The tone comes from the bass itself. The only thing string manufacturers even have to worry about it the physical attributes of the strings. Now back to the review. They will take a little longer to break in then D'Addario brand nickel round wound strings. Other then that they are great. I bought these strings for my Music Man StingRay. I ordered these specific strings because these are what come on the bass. I like that there aren't some crappy factory strings on there. Anyway, I have no problems with the strings. They sound great, for those who like to bash strings when there are tone knobs that control the tone, and bend nicely. I recommend these strings to anyone who owns a Music Man StingRay bass or just likes Ernie Ball products. Oh and they don't label the individual packages that house the strings. That kind of stinks, but I have been playing long enough that I won't mix up the D and G string. This could be a problem for a less experienced bassist or someone who has never bought strings before. Anyway, great product.
