GREAT! And small too! Apr 19, 2005
This is the perfect practice pad. It has two sides: the silenced, very bouncy one; and the harder, louder, more realistic-feeling one (in terms of snare). The 6 inch is also extremely portable. I highly suggest getting this one instead of the 12 inch one because the 12 inch one is humongous and unbelievably heavy. This also has no rim, which I like. Most of the people I talk to also agree that this is a great pad, so I know I'm not the only one who loves it!!

Deciding on the 6- or 12-inch models Jul 14, 2006
By Benjamin F. Freedman
First off, I have been a high school percussion instructor for five years and I love Real Feel pads. I recommend the 12-inch model for anyone that is using a pad to practice marching technique. Yes, its heavier, but that weight is paid off in stability (on your lap or table) and the fact that it fits perfectly on a 14" drum (standard snare).

Woodwind and Brasswind Dec 08, 2006
By Donna L. Secola
I ordered this product as a Christmas gift. the company Woodwind and Brasswind is the Company Amazon has as the seller. 2 weeks after ordering it, they called to tell me that the item was backordered. This is totally unacceptable. I should have been notified immediately. I would never buy from this company again.
