5This is all you need to know...  Mar 19, 2010
By Chris Lund
This tuner works great, is easy to use and should be standard for all guitarists.
I got this for my new Ibanez acoustic and couldn't be happier. I was a little turned off by the price, but now realize it's worth every penny.
While I know it's just a "tuner," the fact I could pull it out of the package use it instantly without trying to understand the screen, or change any settings, is exactly what I wanted. Again, this is the best tuner ever. Get it, and start jamming.

3iffy quality control  Nov 13, 2009
By janie
Other musicians I know say the PT10 is the one to get, but mine malfunctioned after two uses; the on-off and calibration buttons stopped working. I find that most tuners are hard to use in noisy environments, and the PT10 is no exception, but I wouldn't hold that against it. The small size is great, and when it works it's a really handy piece of gear.

2Jumpy and inaccurate  Oct 14, 2009
By Baron S. Collins-hill
This tuner is very solidly built. It is small and light and the change to green backlight when in tune is an amazing feature. However, I ended up sending back mine because it was extremely jumpy and inaccurate, often telling me incorrect notes and that (on the mandolin) two strings were in tune when they were clearly not. I'm sad to say I am very disappointed with how this tuner functioned. Hopefully I got a dud, but for now I will look elsewhere.

4A good tuner  Dec 17, 2010
By William H. Cannon "harrison"
I'm a musician who plays upright bass in a bluegrass band as well as guitar. Over the years I've used a lot of clip on tuners for my acoustic instruments. So far this is one of the better ones I've used. Things I like about it: The interface is lighted so it is easy to read on dark stages. It is a common battery, so when the battery dies I don't have to buy a new tuner, I can just get a new battery. Overall I highly recommend this tuner.

5Great tuner! Better than the PT1!  Dec 28, 2010
By Señor Leo
I've had a PT1 for years that I've used with my Fender Jazz Bass. It took forever to get an accurate reading, and that was only after contorting it every which way on the headstock. I got a PT10 with my new Engelhardt upright and this thing is phenominal! Tunes the doghouse and my J-Bass with ease. Much faster and more accurate than the PT1. The profile is smaller as well so I can leave it on the headstock and it's pretty much invisible. I also like that the display turns green when you're in tune. No more relying on the flashing arrows which are hard to see anyway.
