hard to find item Jul 28, 2006
By Vincent Gervasi
"VINMAN4"
As a guitar and harmonica player who plays out in small clubs it is very hard to find a quality harmonica holder that perfectly holds 10 hole harmonicas .When your specialty is Bob Dylan Neal Young and Donavan covers you have to have a dependable holder that does not slip. This product is perfect for that type of music.I bought two so that I could have one set up in G and the other set up in D to cut down on set up time.

Best Harmonica Holder Jan 12, 2007
By Dale Marsh I have tried EVERY type/brand of harmonica holder for the last 8 or 10 years and FINALLY found one that works great and doesn't look like some type of orthopedic device.
I will caution anyone using this harp holder to be careful when adjusting it not to bend the flat stamped spots that keep the springs in place. I managed to break one that way but was still able to finish the show in spite it being broken because it's made so well.

Easy trick to change harmonicas with this thing Sep 29, 2010
By Joe Readel I've read reviews all over the internet about this thing, and decided to buy it yesterday. I've read a lot of reviews in which people say the springs are way too tight and it's hard to change harps, and while that may be true, I've figured out a pretty simple way to swap them in and out without too much fuss: hold the harp with your mouth (lips over teeth), then use both hands to pull down on the springs using the parts of the holder that the bottom of the harp rests on from the outside. Then simply ease the harp in with your mouth. The key is to apply even pressure to both springs at the same time. It's not hard.

Lee Oscar Harmonica Holder Dec 05, 2012
By W. D. Neil
"Dolores James/Neil"
The springs that hold the harmonica in place are extremely tight. The position of the instrument is fixed at a specfic angle that projects slightly upward. I prefer to hold my harmonica downward against my lower lip. This position enables me to get more of the harmonica in my mouth. The elevation between my clavicle and my mouth is also fixed. If it were adjustable, a person with a longer neck like mine might be able to play the harmonica according to the distance between the shoulders and neck> This is a 1 size fits all holder. I will continue to search the internet for a more suitable holder. WD NEIL

The Best Holder Your Money Can Buy Apr 10, 2012
By Tomme I previously bought the wider aluminum holder for my 7 1/2 inch harmonica... The springs were so tight they popped the nylon bushings out of the ends of the tubing. This holder is for smaller harmonica's, but it is bullet proof! It's the exact right width for the neck piece to slide it over your pumpkin head without removing your ears! It is very strong, with dual wing-nuts to tighten....and it stays put... Spring tension is perfect! Kudos to Lee Oskar!
