I actually bought this item as an adapter for my guitar to be able to use rocksmith. I have an acoustic that I got for Christmas that has no plugin. Got rocksmith as well. A seymour duncan pickup + this item allows me to join to the rocksmith cable. Does the job and cheap! Thanks!

Have used these in my shop for years for coupling guitar heads to combo cabs when pulled out of the box. After I misplaced my last one, I ordered two more. Tight fit, well built to withstand thousands of repeat uses. My last one lasted seven years and I used it nearly every day.

Although I think it's officially for TRS plugs, I use this with instrument TS cables for my Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Electric because the jack is awkwardly placed on the back of the guitar, so my amplugs stick into my body; also the level dials get moved all the time. Therefore I bought a right angled patch cable that runs from the jack and used velcro to seat the coupler inside the leg rest, and keep the Vox amPlug AC30 attached to the tail of the guitar with velcro. The coupler never crackles or messes with the signal. Very high quality coupler. Heavy duty and good looking as well.

I am a mobile dj and purchased these couplers for my speakers because I didn't want to have to buy all new cables. I was a little concerned at first but I was very presently surprised by it. It was packaged well and has a very durable shell. I would reccomend this for all applications. The only downfall is that it is big which is something that is consistent to all 1/4 inch couplers. I would recommend this, especially at the price.
