Awseome Key Chain Jul 30, 2007
By Dan R This key chain is great. It says it can hold about 4 picks, but I currently have 6 in there and there is still room for another. This thing is really handy, you never have to go rummaging through your pockets or a guitar case for picks. Plus, its got a light on it, which is surprisingly bright, which is great if its dark outside and you are trying to load gear into a van (or do anything that requires light). The part you put the keys on is also really well made because it is really asy to get keys on and off, but only if you are trying, they don't come off accidently. Great product!

Gets the job done Jul 15, 2010
By Lee This is something you would expect to find at a swap meet. The quality is pretty bad, and the LED light doesn't work well for me- the button is very very tough to press, so much that your finger gets sore trying to keep the light on, and the connection inside is bad, so the light turns on and off even with full force. However, this is primarily a pick holder keychain, and it does that perfectly. Though it only fits 2 of my picks (I'm a bass player, one is 2.0 and the other 1.something), it's still good if you ever need to whip out a pick.

Great gift for the musical gadget-lover Jul 15, 2008
By Elizabeth Lowe
"Communication Strategist & Down-to-Earth Gal"
My son is 20 and loves this. He's the kind of person who frequently takes off after work with his guitar to hang out with friends. He's also known as Mr. Gadget among his buddies because he loves nifty little items that are good for several things (he grew up around a mom who had an unexplainable adoration for whipping out a Swiss army knife tool, so go figure...)
When you have a child who just needs money for a birthday this is a great little gift to go with the check. His friends were fascinated with he reached for a pick that night. It didn't hold quite the number of picks I'd hoped--maybe it's the size picks he uses--but it's plenty and the light lets him choose just the one he wants. Plus it's so slick how you can just flick a pick with the touch of a button. Just a very handy little gadget for anyone who plays guitar.

First impresssions Feb 28, 2012
By C. Stark I just received this a couple of days ago so I have no idea on its long-term reliability/longevity. But, so far I am VERY happy with it.
I was torn about buying something that would be bulky on my keychain. I'm picky/anal about having lots of stuff on my keychain--I don't want to end up looking like Schneider from "One Day At A Time." (My vision of Utopia would include being completely keyless.) But, even more annoying to me than a bulky keychain is not having a pick handy when I need one. It would seem an easy problem to solve--put one in my wallet or just carry one loose in my pocket. I have tried both solutions with each ending in abject failure. So when I saw this online, with the highly valued added bonus of the LED light, I thought I would give it a shot.
When it arrived I was happy with the size. While it is not tiny, it is not all that bulky either. It comes with a handy chain/clip apparatus that made it quite easy to attach to the ring. But, it also made it hang down quite a bit below my keys. The anal/keychain thing kicked in so I decided to take the chain/clip thingy off. That left a small, but quite strong ring still attached to the unit. I threaded that onto the ring and found that much more to my liking. Before putting my keys into my pocket I have to arrange it so the pick holder is on the outside so my keys lay more evenly in my pocket but it is still not so bulky as to be objectionable.
The specifications claim that it "Holds 4-5 medium gauge picks." Yeah, not so much. I have 2 and it's a bit tight. I could put in another but not 4 or 5. To be fair, I use the "Cool" brand picks that have a sandpaper type surface so that might have an affect of the capacity. But for me, 2 - 3 picks is plenty.
The LED is a GREAT bonus and very useful. I have been thinking about finding one for my keychain anyway. Together they make a great tandem and solve 2 problems for me at once.
I realize this is a long review for something so insignificant--definitely a higher level on Maslow's Hierarchy--but hey, this thing helps me solve a couple of nagging issues. So, in a very real sense, this thing makes my life better. . .
I would say buy one for yourself and get one step closer to your perfect life.

Good little light...but the fob is not the best... May 04, 2012
By BelleBelle This came in the mail today in a rather large box. The blue LED light is fine, you can put about 5 medium picks in the Pick holder. More than enough to keep me and a friend in picks for a few songs. It is not bad but I don't think I would purchase another one.
