This is a snare side head Dec 04, 2012
By Jon Most of the reviews state that the head doesn't last long, and usually gets a hole in the top... This is a snare side head, meaning it is only meant to touch the snares on the bottom, and is far to thin to be used as a batter, so research before buying, I do not own the hazy, but the regular is great

By Leslie Coats Got it for my daughter. The snare head seems to work well so far. Good price and received fast! Will recommend to a friend.

We've been using Remo heads for years on our kits for our band that plays everything from Classic rock to Speed Metal.
Great quality, very durable.

Awesome May 26, 2011
By Jordan Teague Although im a Evans guy now, i will always use remo when i feel like it and this head is one of the few i'll use from remo. when cranked, gives a nice pop that some drummers like me look for. i had a black suede snare side on the bottom and it came to life. its not coated so you cant be a heavy hitter i managed to put a hole in the top of it. but i think this head is very underrated because it gives such a great sound but no one talks about it. most remo users go with the coated ambassador and other snare heads. i recommend this head to any drummer that is a remo user and wants a different look to your snare head. its also single ply which allows the pop that ppl want
This is the one Jun 10, 2013
By Fred You cannot find a better bottom head for a snare. It is much better sounding than Evan Hazy. It is a little thicker than the Evan's Hazy and gives you a deeper sound. I have this on all five of my snares for the bottom snare head.
