I love Rico Royals for the quality of sound and playability.
you always take a chance buying a box instead of picking them out individually at a store. Some are miscut and require some work.

We like it. Some recommend Vandoren for an intermediate/advance player, but we like Rico Royal the best. We are over 2 year users.

This is in the wrong category - I ordered it by mistake because it is in a selection of 10-packs of reeds. In other words, only the 3.0 strength reed pack is a 3-pack, every other strength is a 10-pack. Pay attention to what you are ordering! I couldn't exchange for the 10-pack, because amazon thought I was trying to exchange for the same item.The good thing is, I just ordered the 10-pack, and amazon easily refunded my purchase, and even let me keep the 3-pack.
