Research shows that if your instrument is in your line of sight, you will practice and play more! The added benefit is keeping them safe. THE LAST WORD 
Back to school for the kids gives us time to sit down and look hard at our schedules. Encouraging your children to have music in their lives is a great thing.
Studies have shown that Late Summer and Early Fall is the time of year that gives us the greatest success at learning something new. Maybe because we are conditioned from the Labor Day to Memorial Day School Schedule we once knew. There's no law against you starting lessons yourself, or picking up that guitar you put down a long time ago.
